Definition of stress: A series of neuroendocrine reactions and metabolic changes occurring in a relatively constant pattern after the body is stimulated by various stimuli to maintain the stability and balance of the body's internal environment.

  What factors can cause chicken stress response?

1.Environmental stress:

(1) high temperature, cold, rain, excessive daily temperature difference, excessive humidity;

(2) noise, abnormal sound;

(3) the presence of various harmful gases;

(4) light disorders;

2. Stress caused in management:

(1) density;

(2) forced feathering;

(3) vaccination;

(4) beak breaking;

(5) increased density;

(6) feed restriction and feed replacement;

(7) trauma;

(8) capture, flock transfer;

  What damage can stress do to chickens?

(1) Lead to poor chicken development, reduced breeding rate and survival rate;

(2) lead to the reduction of egg weight and poor egg quality;

(3) Reduced fertility;

(4) Increase in vitamin requirements due to stress, leading to vitamin deficiency;

(5) Decreased immunity and increased morbidity of chickens.

   How to deal with stress?

(1) Ensure sufficient clean drinking water

(2)Control the temperature well

(3) Strengthen ventilation in the poultry house;

(4)Keep the light stable;

(5)Reduce the disturbance in beak breaking and flock transfer;

(6)Regulate the air environment in the chicken house;

(7) vaccination to reduce stimulation

(8) Reduce feeding density;

(9)Keep feed stable
