Spring is the peak egg-laying season for hens. When the egg laying rate reaches more than 80%, the peak egg-laying period is reached, and the peak can reach more than 90%. Therefore, measures should be taken at the peak of egg production to ensure normal egg production at the peak of egg production.
With the arrival of spring, pathogens and animals and insects that spread epidemics start to breed and develop, and then enter the high incidence area of epidemics, so immunization against relevant epidemics should be carried out in spring.
2. Disinfection
In order to further improve the prevention of chicken diseases, on the basis of good immunization against the corresponding diseases should be disinfected by spraying with chickens to eliminate the source of infection, the temperature should be lower in early spring before spraying disinfection to raise the temperature in the chicken coop 2 ℃ ~ 3 ℃, and every three consecutive disinfectant composition used can not be the same.
3. Temperature and humidity control
In order to prevent the egg production performance of high laying hens from being affected by the unstable temperature in spring, the temperature of the laying hens house should be strictly controlled by increasing the temperature and keeping it warm, ventilating and cooling, respectively at 18℃~25℃ and 55%~60%, on the basis of good disease prevention and feed nutrition.
With the extension of natural light time in spring, the supplemental light time should be gradually shortened to prevent the chickens from having egg fatigue syndrome and lower egg production rate and more broken eggs due to too long light time, and forbid the light time to exceed 17 hours.
5. Hygiene in the chicken house
In order to effectively control the occurrence, prevalence and outbreak of epidemic diseases, the chicken house should be cleaned regularly on time, based on other management and nutrition, and the environmental hygiene should be improved and disposed of harmlessly, which can reduce the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms and also reduce secondary infection and transmission.
6、Feeding
In order to reduce stress, stabilize egg production rate and reduce broken eggs, the eggs should be fed regularly three times a day and picked twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, at 6-7, 12-13 and 18-19 o'clock, respectively, and at 12-13 and 17-18 o'clock.
Insects, birds, rats and animals can not only waste feed but also cause biological pollution to feed and water through the pathogens they carry, so insects, rats, birds and animals should be driven away in spring to reduce the chance of spreading epidemics.
8. Control
Strict control and disinfection of people and vehicles entering the chicken farm, outsiders are strictly forbidden to enter the chicken coop, and sick chickens found should be promptly diagnosed and treated or disposed of.
